my one year nephew has lived with me since he was 4 days old. On august 21 his grandmother recieved custody of his mother who is 16. In October her mother allowed her to marry in Kentucky.I just recently recieved temporary custody of the baby. Now the maternal grandmother is petitioning the court stating she is his legal guardian since she had custody of his mother until she was married. My question is does the grandmother have any rights since she signed for her daughter to get married. Is there any jursidicitional laws?
