Filing Affidavit Of Loss With The Florida DMV
Does anyone know the time frame for filing an affidavit of loss in a financial responsibality case with DMV, which could result in the supspension of the license in FL if the at fault driver does not pay?

Does 9mo to 1yr sound right? Did not find anything on their website. Called no one seems to know.

You mean, for payment of an unsatisfied judgment? The court should forward that information automatically.
    Quote:

Quoting Florida Statutes, Sec. 324.111 - Failure to satisfy judgment; copy to department.
Whenever any person fails within 30 days to satisfy any judgment, upon the written request of the judgment creditor or his or her attorney it shall be the duty of the clerk of the court, or of the judge of a court which has no clerk, in which any such judgment is rendered within this state, to forward to the department immediately after the expiration of said 30 days, a certified copy of such judgment.
