my friend gave me and another girl ritalin. and we both paid for it. since we are all 15, we also got suspended out of school.
im suppossed to get a call from a detective soon. but i was wondering if anyone out there could help me out with what would be some of the consequences.
i was in possession of them, but i didnt take them. does that make the situation any differently?
oh and i'm from nj btw...
Possession and being under the influence are seperate offenses.
Your parents need to hire you an attorney as possession of Ritalin (a Central Nervous System stimulant) can be a felony.
I'm not from NJ so I don't know all the factors that might go in to your sentencing if found guilty, but I suspect the LIKELY outcome is probation, a fine, and counseling - with the possibily of some sort of deferred judgement should you complete the counseling and probation with flying colors.

the other girl is going to court. what is the most that can come out of that ?
oh and the guy that we got if from and me arent talking that much but i am talking to the other girl a lot...is this okay or should i not talk to any of them ?
