Emancipation In Arkansas

Ok. So I've read all the text above and im still questioned by this. Im 16 and I pretty much run the house I live in now. I write out all the bills, cook, clean, and dress my brothers before school everyday and Im sick of playing mom when all my mom does is sit at the house she doesnt even have a job. I plan to further my education, I make the grades. I have a good job and I could pay half rent with my boyfriend and still have all the extra things im used to. I want to get out of my house for personal reason about my mom. My dad lives in louisana and he told me if I needed to go I could go. I wont go live with him because my life is here and he understands that. Im not a stupid teenage girl who is going to go out and get prego because I hate my mom. I have goals and when I want something I make myself push to get it. I guess my only question is can I do it? CAn I be emacipated and start my own life without playing "mommy" and taking care of a 38 year old women without a job. I dont want to start it if I know I cant finish.

Your chances of success without first living on your own are slim.

You must also convince a court to grant you emancipation. Being told to do chores will usually not reach that threshold. Especially when you consider that if you are living on your own (OWN being the operative word) you will be doing ALL the chores.

No judge in any jurisdiction is going to emancipate you so that you can live with your boyfriend.

If you want to move in with him, get married.

The chances that you will be emancipated to go and live with your boyfriend are exactly zero.
