Parking Tickets and City Infractions During a Ticket Deferral
I live in Washington State and recieved a deferral several months ago. I just got another ticket and have a court date set. However, I am going to try to bargain down to non-traffic infraction
My question is whether parking tickets and/or city violations violate the rules set forth by the deferral?
Re: Parking Tickets and City Infractions During a Ticket Deferral
RCW 46.63.070(5)(b) states:

Quoting RCW46.63.070(5)
(b) A person may not receive more than one deferral within a seven-year period for traffic infractions for moving violations and more than one deferral within a seven-year period for traffic infractions for nonmoving violations.
Since a parking or non-moving infraction can also be deferred, it doesn't stand to reason that they would affect a moving infraction deferral. But that's just my interpretation -- I could be wrong. You could try calling the Clerk of the Court and ask.
