Help For Texas Emancipation And Moving To Another State
At the moment i am 14 but in a matter of days i will be 15.
At the age of 16 I wish to move back to the state of Kansas. I have several other questions before the one involving moving states
What would be the estimated wage suitable for emancipation?
What would the size of living space (apartment, house) be suitable?
Are there any suggested courts/judges to go to for these sorts of things.
Do your parents have to be in the same state with you?
Must i have a supporting boyfriend or adult with me?
Please.. thank you to those who will/have helped. I just want to be where i feel happiest. My family is not abusive, harmful, or hatful. I just feel that this move was not in my best intrest and i feel if i can maintain myself.. i can do this on my own. Thank You
Re: Texas&Kansas Emancipation Help
1.) There is no possible way for us to tell you what would be considered an appropriate wage in an unknown region of the state in a years' time.
2.) That will be up to an unknown judge.
3.) No.
4.) Before or after the emancipation?
5.) Don't even mention a supporting boyfriend or you haven't a prayer of being emancipated (your chances aren't great to begin with). There isn't a judge in the US that will emancipate you so that you can live with your boyfriend. As for other supporting adults, emancipation is about SELF-support. If you need someone else to support you, that's not emancipation.
