Interstate Nonpayment Of Support Case, Probation Not Helping
I am a new poster, and I am at my wits end. My child support case opened up in 2006. My son's father owes 13,000 in child support. He has only showed up to one supervised visitation since that time, and never calls unless to harass me.
I live in NJ and he lives in PA. He has changed jobs frequently, however, I was able to get the information to my probation worker each time. She never does anything. He moved 2 months ago, and she still won't do anything. I gave her his unemployment information in August (which he is still collecting) and she STILL didn't do anything. Her boss says "its just her personality", and my ex calls me to taunt me about it. How can I get the State of PA to assist me in this and take over this case, get some lazy NJ state employees fired, and have my ex arrested for non-payment?
I have tried to take him to court for non-payment myself, and they told me only probation can do that. I also asked to have the case transfered to PA, but my caseworker told me it could take up to 2 years (probably because she won't work on it).
I am in desperate need of advice.

It sounds like you need to consult a local family lawyer.
