Communicating Threats In North Carolina

Hi I have to go to court on a communicating threat charge (which by the way I never did) I found out its a class 1 misdemeanor but I don't know what to expect at the hearing should I run out and find a lawyer at this time of year I really don't have the money And also if I am found not guilty can I turn around and get this person for harreasement or somerthing

It is not in your best interest to go to court withuot an Attorney. If you cannot afford an Attorney request a Public Defender
