How Long Does A Careless Driving Citation Stay On Your Driving Record In Minnesota
    Hello,

I recieved a citation for careless driving a few years ago and would like to know how long it will be on my driving record.

I belive that speeding tickets stay on for 3-5 years ?

Since this is a criminal offense, does that mean I have a criminal record and if so, is there any way I can have the offense expunged from my record ?

    Thank you.

It looks like violations are maintained as part of your DMV record for five years, and DUI offenses for fifteen.
