Shoplifting Charges

:wallbang: I am pleading guilty to a first defense shoplifting in the amount of $34.73. I know its a disorderly persons offense but what i dont know is whether or not both the state(New Jersey) AND Walmart can press charges. Also, i have admitted to taken items prior to this incident. Can they press charges for that too? Even if I wasn't read my rights before admitting to it and didn't include it in my statement. And if they can how long do they have to press charges? PLEASE help me with this. I've never been in trouble before and i don't know what can happen. I just need to know the possibilities.

You state your pleading guilty yet you ask about charges. Were you cited? Do you have a court date? If not then there is not issue at the time. They do have until statute of limitations runs out to press if they so desire
