    Hello..And thanks for any help you can provide..
    In 2001 I married a colombian national..In 2002 just before filing for her green card, I lost my job, and my sister sponsored her..She got her green card in 2004..
    Later in June of 2004 we divorced, she is now moving back to Colombia..
    Is my sister liable for any debts that my ex has accumulated here?
    HELP!

    Not for debts in general. Being a sponsor makes you responsible to reimburse the government for public assistance benefits.
