Plan On Being Emancipated At 16 In Texas

I'm 15 now, and turn 16 in July. I plan on getting a job as soon as possible. I understand most of what need to occur before I can become emancipated, managing finances, living independantly, and so forth. I pretty sure I can convince my parents to let me, so I wont have to petition an emancipation. As for a reason, it's not that I live in a bad household or anything. My parents are still hapyily married and they have been good to me, but I have a close friend that I want to help support.

Your "plan" depends on factors not yet in place. In addition as noted previously you do not appear ot have a question

Keep your grades up

Get a good job

If your parents are going to agree that you can move out, then you need to make sure you can take care of yourself.

Getting a job would be good start

I plan to. Lucky for me most jobs in town are within walking distance of my school. So my feet are my motive of transportation. I make As and Bs on my schoolwork so all I got to do is keep that up. Any other suggeestions?

Emancipations are not granted on plans. So your plans need to become actions to proceed
