Procedure For Concurrent I-130 And I-485 Filing
    Hi,

My parents will be arriving in the U.S. soon and I'm getting ready to file immigration applications for them. I just realized that I can file I-130 and I-485 concurrently. Does this mean that I should:

    1. Submit both I-130 and I-485 and supporting documents to the USCIS lockbox address in Chicago?
    2. Include medical examination report as part of the supporting documents?
    3. Submit I-131 and I-765 optionally in the same package too?

What other documents can/shall I include concurrently? Shall I submit I-864 (Affidavit of Support) along with it too, or wait to be contacted by the NVC?

I couldn't find information clearly explaining the process in the case of concurrent filing of I-130 and I-485. Your advice is greatly appreciated!

    And Happy Holidays!

The USCIS used to provide this list; I'm not sure if it is on their reorganized website:
    Quote:

Quoting USCIS Information - Immediate Relatives
If you are the immediate relative (spouse, parent or unmarried child under 21 years old) of a U.S. citizen, submit the following forms:
    • I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
    • G-325A, Biographic Information
    • Your original I-130, Petition for Alien Relative (if you are filing concurrently), or a copy of your I-797, Notice of Action (if the petition was already approved).
    • I-864, Affidavit of Support
    • I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status

All required supporting documentation as listed on the above forms. ...

You may also submit the following forms:
    • G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative (if you have a lawyer)
    • I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, if you want to work while your application is processed
    • I-131, Application for Travel Document, if you need to travel outside the United States while your application is processed
    • I-485 Supplement A, and penalty fee if applicable. See 8 CFR 245.10
    • I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Excludability, if applicable
