    can i get emancipated from only one parent? My father and i have a very ugly relationship and i would like to be emancipated from him is that something i can do and how would i go about doing that ?

    thank you but to me was not a silly question i guess this forum is not for people that dont know the law but for those that already do and dont ask silly questions ......thanks for your help

    If your parents no longer live together, you can ask your mother to try to resolve this as a child custody matter.

    thank you and she is working on that i just thought if there were something i could do to help i know this is not cheap and she works hard, just seeing what i could do ...thank you
