Home Foreclosure and Personal Property After Lockdown
In the state of Florida, if a home has been foreclosed on and is going to be locked down prior to auction, what happens to my personal property inside the home? After it is locked down, can they keep my furniture and other personal property and sell them at auction? What about my car, can they take that and sell it at auction. I would really appreciate an answer asap as this is a horrible situation to be in.
Thanks,

Re: Home Foreclosure and Personal Property After Lockdown
I can't find any good authority on this question. Obviously, you can remove personal property after foreclosure, prior to lockdown. Have you tried contacting the person or entity presently in control of the premises, to see if they will let you recover your personal property (or if they have been removed and how you might recover them)?
