How To Declare A Unruly Child Incorrigible
My 17 year old daughter runs away constantly the police ends up bring her home. She doesn't listen to one thing I say. She always wants to go out with her friends , I let her go out but I she has a curfew and she always violates it because she wants to stay for days and days. She also brings her boyfriend over when I'm not home. When I take things away from her she just cusses me out and runs away. She has had some run ins with the law (petty theft twice). This is a constant cycle. I can go on and on for days about what she does. So I'll stop here. I don't know what to do anymore. Based on this do you think I declare her incorrigible. And how to I file the petition to declare her incorrigible?. I live in the Los Angeles County in CA. What other options do I have besides declaring her incorrigible? :wallbang:

Talk to mental health services or, if she has one, her case worker or probation officer.
