Embezzlement and Retail vs. Wholesale Valuation
i have a embezzlement case pending against me(i posted a thread below on it)
CA
While analyzing the case the total of the amount is 8000, while reading the material i found out that the total amount is full retail value, a 75%
mark up than what they paid for, i have access of getting there invoices of what they originally paid for,
i have a meeting with my lawyer next week,
So i was wondering, is that something that i can show, and will be easy to bring the total amount down?
By the way this happen on Sept 13 last day of employment, and was arrested, to this day i have not seen my last last paychecks that exceed
$4500, I'm aware that my ex employer is in violation of
(California Labor Code Section 201)
(Cal. Labor Code §203)
I'm remorseful for what i done and totally starting to ruin my life, im just trying to the ease the consequences:wallbang:
Re: Embezzlement and Retail vs. Wholesale Valuation
Without knowing the facts, it's hard to know whether the argument will fly, but fortunately you have lawyers to clarify that for you.
Re: Embezzlement and Retail vs. Wholesale Valuation
understandable
but i take the 75% mark up its actually 45%
i found out they originally paid $4415
which is less than what they owe me on wages not paid within 72 hours of my last day, that was 2 months ago.
Did they take the law in there own hands?, they did also came to my house too:wallbang:,before getting the police involved, they where
demanding to pick up there property, they said it wasn't a search, but they did ask me questions like if i had there stuff in my car or in my garage
i was complain with them and offer to pay them on the spot
hopefully my attorney works out a deal with prosecutor with the plea bargain,
Re: Embezzlement and Retail vs. Wholesale Valuation
It does not violate your rights for the victim of your crime to ask where its property is, or to request its return.
