child protection services have been called in on many occations regarding the physical and mental abuse, but nothing is ever done. The mother just laughs at the fact that they are even called at all, because she says that she will never be indicated.
Yes, I do know what emancipation is and seen it usually applies to 16yr - 18 yr olds. Is there a way for her to request councel for herself to get out of her mothers home?
Tell her to discuss these options with the social worker on the abuse allegations or her school counselor. by the way emacnipation is about self support for teens who qualify it has nothing to do with abuse
Dear concerened. Have you seen evidence of this abuse that CPS did not? If so then you should provide that evidence to CPS. emancipation (as you have been told twice at least) is not an option.
NO... but I also asked if there was a way she could seek council for herself and ask the courts to remove her from her mothers home to her fathers?
Why are you butting in if ther eis no real evidenc eof abuse then? CPS investigated and found nothing. They (court or CPS) cant act on unverfied claims
I have not seen the evidence since we live 5 hrs away from the child. The marks or bruises are usually gone by the time she visits with us.
The child keeps crying out along with her sister. When DCFS questions the children they all say the abuse is there, but when they question the parents they deny the about and states it was an accident.
I suppose we should drop the whole thing and just sit and wait until she ends up in the hospital seriously hurt or dead?
