    Getting Full Custody In Montana
Is anyone familiar with the laws in Montana about child custody?? My daughter is 3wks old and her father has openly admitted he doesn't want her. Now he is accepting a job to do Mexican Border patrol and wants joint custody. I need to file for full custody and ASAP!! How do you do this in Montana without paying tons of lawyer fees??

You won't get full custody...You would get joint custody/Shared legal...This is standard.

Why wouldn't I be able to get full custody? Even with him moving away. I have saved text messages of him stating that where he is going would be unsafe for her to go... would that help me in court?

Because shared legal and physical custody is standardly given when the NCP requests it. There is nothing you have posted that would change this...A long distance visitation schedule will be put in place...When she is older she will visit with her father. You need to understand he has a right to his child.

    Sole custody is child abuse.
