They could "let you get engaged" to a snowman. It doesn't have any legal significance.

i do not think that is right i believe that they should not try to get him arrested for the simple fact if that her daughters baby should have a father around unknown like most of us teens in us like me. But still I believe that the guy should help beings its not just her kid and it isn't the mothers kid i think her bf and her should take care of it beings it is there kid and not the mothers. And in that case i do not think that the guy should get arrested because the girl new or should of known what she was doing just like he did.So you cant always blame the guy.

Your opinion has nothing to do with what the law says. Just because you "don't think it's right " the legal answer does not change.
