    Larceny Sentencing in Missouri
Ok, my younger sister has been arrested for larceny. She turned 18 this past summer, and is being charged with a misdemeanor. She has already been to court once and they gave her a new court date. She got some information from her lawyer but he is out of town and can't answer her questions, so here I am and I need some answers because unfortunately, she won't take the initiative to find out this info herself. Ok, the prosecutor is offering her a deal. If she pleads guilty he ((I'm assuming it's a man)) will recommend that she have 60 days SES, 2 years unsupervised probation, 5 days shock, and 40 hours CACSA, or 30 days in jail. We have no idea what SES, CACSA or shock is, and we would like some advice on which would be better. She is a full time student, so whichever will keep her out of school for less time would be better, I do believe, but seeing as I do not know what these are I cannot say, please give me some advice. I am so frusterated with her and I do not know what to do or say...:wallbang:

Here's a bit of fellow Missourian help for you...

SES: Suspended Execution (of) Sentence...if she gets in legal trouble of most any sort during her 2yr proby time then she'll most likely get the 60 day "tour".

5 day shock time: Is exactly what it says, 5 'shock' days in the local jail.

The 40 hours is most likely community service and or (anti)shoplifting classes.

You need to really get it in her head to take a severe interest in her case. Apathy towards this is potentially disasterous.......

    Hope this helps some.
