    Sex Between Underage Minors
I just found out my Niece (age 14) has had sex with a 16 year old boy. Is there anything we can do? Can we "legally" forbid them to see reach other? I know we have some obvious issues, please help, anyone!!!!!!!

Of course you can legally forbid them to see each other. You may even be able to get a protective order and there is a chance (depending on state and state laws) of having the 16 year old charged with sex crimes

Florida's age of consent is 18. See the particulars under FS Chapter 764:

You can file a police report, and the sooner the better. If you are the legal guardian of the 14 year old, you can apply for an order of protection on her behalf, even against her wishes.

You might also explain to her that this activity could send him to jail, even if she wanted the activity to happen.

Finally, get yourself and your neice some support. This IS statutory rape.

The may have programs in place to help address such issues with victims her age (who don't get it that they are victims).

I might suggest you report this crime to Police not so much as to have the 16 year old arrested to to enchance chances of protective order and to protect yourself if somewhere down the line you come under the microscope over this. You can then say you reported the crime and sought protective order to protect the child
