    Thanks aaron for the clarification. I feel releived. And in response to the last entry I'd suggest getting the job then considering filing not the other way around. I doubt the judge would rule in your favor with I coulds or what ifs you need to know you can support yourself while going to school.
    I trully beleive the only reason it worked out for me was because it was a goal I had been working on for over 8 years. When I was seven I decided I would rather live on the streets than deal with what was going on at home.

    New Question! This probably belongs in another category but I have been trying to find out about medical directives and living wills.

    I train horses and camels and work with other dangers livestock so I am always risking getting injured. Say I were to get seriously injured or unconscious my parents would have full power over my medical care, right?
    So how can I make a medical directive/ living will incontestable (because my mom is crazy)?

    You can't prevent her from trying to challenge a medical directive; but that would be quite unusual.
