Massachusetts Sentence Reduction
I currently have a relative incarcerated in a Massachusetts prison. Specifically the Federal Medical Center at Devens Massachusetts.
We are trying to discover information about a recent law regarding the length of incarceration for prison-mates. Apparently, (according to my incarcerated relative), there is a new law in MA that allows prisoners to get a %10 reduction in there sentence.
Apparently there is a form I must fill out in order for my incarcerated relative to be eligible for this. But I know nothing of this law and can find no information pertaining to it. This is all we know about this law, and would appreciate it if anyone with any knowledge regarding this could please post a link to the law itself, or a link to a website where I can download the form to fill out.

Laws enacted through September 30, 2007, can be found here. More recent laws can be found here.
If your friend incarcerated in the state system or the federal system? State laws providing for early release don't affect federal prisoners.
