What about entering the country? Will I be picked up at customs? This is terrible.
It's possible, particularly if you enter through Texas.
Any way to know for sure? And, what happens when I get picked up, if that were to happen? Continue with the probation? or sit in jail?

Try it and see what happens. Then you'll know for sure. (And yes, that's the only way to know for sure.)
Mr. Knowitall... funny... but not laughing...
I have managed to stay GONEGONEGONE for years now. Can continue this way ...
After crossing in and out of the country many times, I can say that border patrol will catch you. You have to fill out a declaration form and provide your name. They do the background check and you're gone.
A PV is a minor issue, why not resolve and be done with it?? Seems easier than running and then when are caught, you'll sit while your PO decides what to do with you and then you'll have to go through that. Too much hassle, just give in, give up, and get on with your life.
