Please Help Put My Mind at Ease
I recently shoplifted nearly $400 worth of merchandise from a large department store in NYC and I'm worried that I was caught on video. I had legitamately purchased merchandise at various registers within the store with my credit card but I walked out with some things that were not paid for. I'm sure that no alarm was triggered by an anti-theft device, but as I exited the store I thought I might have heard a low pitched alarm go off. If a security guard watched me on video and triggered the aram when I left, what are the chances that the police were called and that I would be found out by the transactions I made there?

I soooo regret doing it now. Can you put my mind at ease? This is not me . .

If Loss Prevention had seen you they would have stopped you. chances they will seek you out and arrest you is very low. However you might stay out of that store for a while. There is no gurantee you were not video taped and they track you through your Credit Card but again its highly doubtful. Consider this your lucky day and never do this again
