Less than 1% of all petitions are successful. there are no gurantees

Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
You should be able to get the forms from the clerk of court.
As to how you show that you are ready to be fully responsible for yourself, that is up to you to do so. If you are capable of living as an adult and taking on the responsibilities of an adult, then include in the statement any evidence that backs up your claims.
Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
do I have to leagally get emancipated to be able to move out even if my parents are willing for me to do so.
Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
If your parents consent your fine.
Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
What could one of those clams be??? like everyday things or I don't understand do you mean like how I work and could pay bills and manage money???
Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
I understand thank you if I have more questions I will reply soon thank you for your help. But be for I go if I was to get the petition and file it how long would the process take???
Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
Your parents (not you) file and process takes months at very least. By the way you mention Mom is ok with it but what of Dad both parents are required to agree otherwise yo may have a court battle before emancipation even gets started
Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
That depends on how backed up the court is, the judge's calendar, what other evidence the judge may decide he needs, how long the GAL's interest and report takes to get to the court....
There is no way to tell you how long it would take.

In Hillsborough County or the surrounding counties, all types of civil cases usually take a year or longer to be finalized. You are in a very populous area, so don't get your hopes up.
Re: I Need Information on Emancipation
I wouldn't expect it to take a year or more for an emancipation petition to be heard, even in a busy court.
