    Aaron is of course correct once you do this your seriously limit your options. what you need to to do is consult with a criminal defense Attorney and discuss your options

    Thank you all for the tips and suggestions - they are truly appreciated. I have finally found an attorney in Kansas who understands that I want to resolve this and correct the situation, not just let it hang over my head and not return to Kansas. It is going to cost me a pretty penny, but cest la vie.

    He is going to ask the warrant be lifted and then go from there. He advised that I will probably not have to appear, but to be prepared just in case.
