    Landlord Evicting Under False Allegation
Landlord is trying to evict me saying that I moved my boyfriend in. Which i didn't. He has never had any clothes or any of his personal belongings in my apartment. He did spend the night with me a lot and visit a lot but isnt that my right to have company whenever i want if i pay rent? We had a verbal discussion about this a week ago and i thought we had hammered everything out and everything was okay. I come home yesterday to an eviction notice in my mail box. Isnt he supposed to give me a written warning before he can evict me? I want to fight this notice. any suggestions as to where i should start? any good websites i can go to that lets me kno what my righst are as a tenant? please help!

The written notice provides you with notice of his intention to evict you and his basis for eviction.

You can nose around on various legal aid sites, or university web pages.

    Security Deposit
Your security deposit should be returned, less any damage and unpaid rent. You don't indicate if you have a lease - there may be future rents owed if you break a lease.
