Annulment Help
i read that a way to get an anullment could be mental problems. my parents passed away two years ago and my grandfather passed away a year ago both before my marriage in dec. of 2006. i have been bothered by it ever since they passed. about a month after i got married i went to the emergency room 2-3 times about my depression and anxiety and was told that i had it bad and was put on medication for it. part of the reason why i got married was becuase of me not having anywhere to live and the only family i had was my brother so i got married to fill that void of having a place to live and having a family. now me and my wife are split up and i was curious as to if i could get an anullment due to the depression and anxiety i was diagnosed with.

Re: Annulment Help
Laws are different in each state.
Typically, you would have to establish that you were mentally incompetent to knowingly enter a marriage. Being under stress falls short of that.

I agree. Best to file for a no fault divorce in accordance with the laws of your state.
