Time Limit To Deliver A Conviction in Oregon
    Hi,

I'm pretty sure that I saw a reference to a six month limit from the date of a traffic offense to the delivery of a conviction to Oregon's DMV. After six months, DMV can't include the conviction in calculating any action against a driver.

For the life of me, I can't find the reference now in the Oregon Revised Statutes. Does anyone have information on this?

    Thanks in advance!

Have you tried calling the DMV and asking?

Some states have laws like that for certain traffic misdemeanors (e.g., drunk driving charges). Maybe you heard about something in that context.
