it is difficult to guess as to what may be charged without knowing exactly what the girl would tell the authorities. Without that, I believe the state would have at least 1 year to initiate charges and very possibly 3 years. In some circumstances, they would have up to 10 years to inititate charges.

Also if you are advising this woman, You should let her know to report it to Texas authorities as soon as possible. The longer she waits and the more people that talks to her about this the fuzzyer the details will get. If she is going to report this at all ( and I realize this will be one of her most difficult decisions) she needs to contact the police as soon as she is up to it. If she consented (which would still be sick) this would be considered incest. Incest is a misdemeanor in Texas.
