Caught Shoplifting at Claire's in Florida

(MINOR age:17, Florida) I recently got caught a few days ago stealing at claire's. $5 pair of earrings.. i know.. stupid. :wallbang: Okay, well the manager there took my information and the mall security came (took my info and took a pic of me) and made me sign a paper saying that i could not come back into the mall for a year and i was banned from claire's forever. Claire's called the cops and a police officer came and escorted me out to his car. Well because my mom was at work and my dad had no transportation, he said that he would take my information (name, SS#, and number to contact by) and let me go. Then he put me into the cop car and drove me to my car. He told me that because i didnt have to go down to the police department that i would probably not be convicted and not have to go to court if the attorney let the paperwork go or something.

What i would like to know is.. what exactly is going to happen and if it will be put on my record? :confused: Thank you for any information.

Unless your charged and convicted there is no criminal record
