Foreign Boyfriend With Lewd Media of Underage Ex

I broke up with a man three years ago who is a citizen and current resident of Scotland. I met him there on a (recurring) vacation when I was thirteen, he was about 3 and 1/2 years older, and things kept going.

When I returned home, we kept up the relationship for a few years, which ultimarely led to some.. risque stuff being exchanged. When we parted, I deleted or threw out all of his stuff, and he said he did too, but a mutual friend (who happens to be his wife!) told me several months ago she found something on his computer. She knows it was me, described it, and I agree. We confronted him and he claimed he knew nothing. She just chalked it up as a fluke, something random still there after all those years and forgot it. She found more recently (a whole load of hard copies) of my younger self and is really disturbed.

I was fourteen and fifteen for some of this and he is now 24 years old. It's ruining his marriage and I'm pretty embarassed that his wife has to keep finding this stuff. He says he's thrown it out and she's seen him get rid of some of it but she's not convinced. She has a young daughter of no relation to him and she's become concerned. She's even questioning his sexuality and is considering threatening him with legal action (charging him with pedophilia or something) when theres nothing to say hes ever touched her daughter. Can she do this?

This has probably gone way farther than he had ever intended, but the material is very explicit, and depending on what he's kept, he will have been four years older than I for some of it, and maybe "physically involved". She's found no child porn or anything else, only me/us together... and I did not have a childs body when I was ten, nevermind at fourteen. I don't think he's a pedophile at all. I am frustrated and angered, but I don't think he should be punished for being a pedophile over what amounts to a stupid teen mistake that he's still reliving.

Is there a statute of limitations on this kind of stuff, and being between the UK and the US, could I be drug into this?

Your question is the a sol on this kind of stuff is difficult to answer because it is unclear what stuff you mean.

I have no idea if stuff is pornography. You didn't state it was.

I don't know if this is private personal property that his wife is snooping around trying to "catch him". And why would it concern you?

I also don't know what you are thinking with some thoughts of his sexual preference.

Your statements about YOU being 14 & 15, relationship with him for 3 years, then continued for several years, and he is now 24 don't make sense when trying to imply he is a pedophile.
