Trying To Pay A Ticket, But Original Was Destroyed
I got a speeding ticket in California in january of 2006. I have been trying to find where I call to find out the amount of the ticket, fines, late fees and where to send it.
I currently live in another part of the province and unable to even redirect mail from old address.

The problem is. My house burned to the ground a month after I returned from my trip, and my ticket was lost. As well as my maps and all trip info. I only have a general idea on a strip of road I could have gotten the ticket. and i don't know who to call to find out the info with out the actual citation #. And google is useless.

The road was route 5, anywhere from the 505 up to about Redding.

If anyone has some phone #'s I can call to get this sorted? I am visiting in January and don't want to be arrested or anything and I just got back onto my feet finantially and want to clear this up.

You can try calling the Superior Courts for each county you crossed, to see if they have any files in your name.....

The CA DMV probably can tell you.
