Reckless Driving in Farmington, Michigan

I was with two other kids, and they decided to start hitting construction barrels. I WAS NOT driving at the time of the barrels getting hit. I started driving after all of that happened, and not more than 100 ft after I got in the drivers seat, the police pulled us over. They said that they got complaints from people about us hitting the cones, and that I was to get a reckless ticket. Although it was stupid to even be in that situation, I dont believe I should get a ticket. Is there any way or any possibility for it to get lowered? *(the officer that pulled us over said it would get reduced...but to what?) and what will happen if it doesent (I am 16, had my license for 3 months w/o any tickets).

Have your parents help you get a lawyer, and hope your friends back up your version of the story.
