Re: can i emancipate myself?
On the 22nd, you will still be considered a 17 year old.
You cannot move out without consent from your parent/legal guardian.
You must be fully self supporting with a place to live in order to meet the qualifcations for emancipation.
Even if you do meet the qualifcations (which, you do not) it is still beyond difficult to have a court grant legal emancipation. Emancipation is not designed to get teens out of their homes. It is intended to protect minors who are already fully supporting themselves.
Honestly, even if emancipation were a concievable option, you will be 18 in roughly 6 months. Just tough it out.
Re: Can I Emancipate Myself
Emancipation is much, much rarer than most teens appear to believe. It is not granted because your parent or legal guardian will not let you do what you want.
No, you cannot emancipate yourself. And based on what you have posted, you do not meet the requirements so that a court would consider doing it for you.
