Photo and Seal Missing from Form N-550
Hello all. I was going through my paperwork this morning and discovered that my photo with the INS seal on my N-550 was missing from the form. It must have fallen off somewhere between moving states and moving homes since 1993 when it was originally issued. I have a US Passport that was issued to me in 1999 that expires in 2009. Now-my questions:

    1. Do I need my N-550 to renew my passport or will my existing passport be sufficient enough?
    2. I got married in 1994 and divorced in 2001. The N-550 has my maiden name since it was issued before all the drama :o What do I need to send them to get a replacement? I still go by my married name but want to change that soon.

Here are instructions for passport renewal. You don't need the form N-550 to renew your passport.

You should be able to get a replacement N-550 through the USCIS office which issued your original certificate of naturalization.
