    Felony Indictment and Employment
I Live In Maryland, The Employment Process Will Be In The State Of Virginia And I Will Be Working Out Of A Satellite Office In Washington D.C.

Hello! I have received a job offer at a global professional services firm that partners with government and commercial clients to give consulting services and technology solutions. The position is as a PC Specialist II. I currently have 2 pending felony charges for kidnapping/abduction of a minor, which most likely will be dropped or I may receive a lesser charge reduced to a misdemeanor. The background check has initiated through http://verifiedcredentials.com and I am sure it will reveal this, will these pending charges prevent me from getting the job? Is it legal for them to deny me employment because of pending charges?
