Changing a Divorce Settlement After a Year
My husband has been divorced from his ex for just over a year now. The problem is he regrets what he decided to put in the divorce papers. He of course pays cs which he doesn't have a problem with, its the fact he decided then (cause he thought it was the right then to do plus wanted out so bad) to pay for the suv which the ex has along with the insurance(all for the kids) and she didn't get stuck with any of the bills that they had together while married. He was wondering how hard it would be to go back to court and try to get at least the SUV off the papers and get some help with paying the bills that they had. Another issue he had with her was while in iraq she decided not to pay any bills at all(they were still married) so when he got home everything was SO behide which he is still trying to pay. Shouldn't she have to help? Oh in Kentucky by the way:wallbang:
Re: Changing Divorce Papers After a Year
Sorry. His regret at agreeing to a particular property settlement is not enough to get that settlement changed.
