Moving In With My Aunt

I am 16 years old and i am currently living with my uncle and his wife. My father was very abusive and i had to get out. But living with my uncle is only slightly better because he doesnt hit me. Its just i feel no love and there is constant fighting in the household. My uncles wife is always telling lies on me just to cause me trouble. Also they live just down the street from my father and i just need a place where i can feel safe and loved. I have that with my aunt, she is actuall my uncles ex wife but she is also my cousin, i once lived with her and my uncle when i was little but she divorced my uncle because she was living in the same misery i now live in. I have no other place to go. Can i be emancipated into her custody since i dont have a job and i want to finish school. She is willing to take on the responsibility and expense of my schooling and everything i need. Please help me, i need out! I live in West Virginia and my aunt/ cousin lives in Kentucky

Emancipation is not about custody. Emancipation is about self support. You also failed to state what state you live in laws vary by state

If your parents still have custody of you and you are simply living with a relative by virtue of their consent, they can consent for you to live with a different relative.

my parents didnt consent for me to move in with my uncle i just left and when he came to take me back i refused to go and he hasnt tried to make me go back anymore. I am afraid to go back and my uncles wife keeps telling she is gonna make me go back but anyway i know my parents wont let me live with my aunt cause they dont like her but i have no where else to go, maybe i should just run away!! Go live with her anyway.

And when they send Police to go get you your Aunt could find herself in trouble.

She would have to file for custody and prove you are better off with her
