    Alienation of Affection Statutes
I am not sure if this is the correct way to go (alienation) with my situation. My Ex-wife left me for a co-worker, we were divorced ,after a 10 year marriage, as a result. I currently have equal custody of our two children, one week on, one week off. She has just announced that this same person will now be moving in with her. Do I have any chance at obtaining full custody of my children. She travels for her job and its not uncommon that I get the kids more often then not. My children and I are catholic and there are many moral challenges that are associated with this change. What are my options for keeping him from moving in, or gaining full custody??? we are residents of Illinois

People get into new relationships and get remarried after divorce. The fact that your ex- is moving on with her life is not going to be a basis to change custody. If the new husband is somehow dangerous to the children, such as having a record as a sex offender or engaging in acts of abuse, that's something you can probably work with.
