False Charges of Battery on a Minor

My boyfriend of 5 years has 2 boys, ages 11 and 13 with an ex-girlfriend. She is filing charges of aggrevated battery on a minor today because he punished the 11 year old by giving him a spanking on his backside with a belt. The spanking resulted in a small bruise on his backside for which she took him to the HOSPITAL! The boy was punished because he was caught smoking pot at his friends house.
These charges stem from the fact that she is in a custody battle for another one of her children by a different man. She believes my boyfriend is going to testify on his behalf and was quoted to say, "He can't testify against me if he's in jail".
This "woman" is a prostitute, LITERALLY. She makes a living by posting ads for escort services in a local paper and from the welfare system. She has 4 children by 3 different fathers!
I liken this monster to a malignant cancer who thrives to drain all the energy and will from your body. She is a slow torturous death sentence!
We can no longer bear the monthly visits from Child Protection Services (no actions have ever been taken against us due to her lies) or the unrelenting stress and misery she causes on a daily basis. My boyfriend has full custody of the 11 year old, but no longer wants a relationship with either of the kids because it means having to endure this female version of Satan for many more years to come.

Referring to the bolded part of your post- fine, he can solve the problem of dealing with the ex simply by giving her full custody of the 11 year old. Then he has the choice to simply drop out of his kids' lives altogether, just because he doesn't like thier mother. I'm pointing this out because I'm not sure if you realize how your statement comes across. Does he REALLY want to forget about a relationship with his kids???

However, a spanking using a hand would NOT leave a bruise. A belt can easily leave a bruise, so he appears to be guilty. He really should voluntarily offer to take anger management classes and parenting classes.
