Conditional Citizenship Revocable Upon Felony Conviction
    Hi,

Assume A is a legal immigrant of the United States and marries B, a United States citizen. Is A's citizenship (assuming citizenship is granted due to the marriage) in any way conditioned (for a certain period of time, i.e., a waiting period) upon him or her not being convicted of a crime (either misdemeanor or felony)? If so, what is the code citation?

    Thanks!

You are asking about criminal convictions which occur after naturalization? They should not affect the completed naturalization. Revocation of citizenship is governed primarily by 8 U.S.C. 1451.
