    Statute of Limitations for Fraud
    I am going through a divorce and my wife has papers from 8 years ago showing a fraud aginst the insurance company , can anyone tell me if there is a stature of limitations on these crimes :confused: there is also a theft that we both did but it looks like i was alone in this it was also 8 years ago .....i need to know if there is a statute on this before i go to my divorce attorny and explain this to him any help would be appriciated

    There's almost certainly a statute of limitations. Its length depends upon the jurisdiction (state and/or federal) which would initiate charges.
