Visitation
I live in Indiana and have joint custody with my ex after 3 years of fighting over the children (10 & 15). I (mother)have primary custody they live with me. We recently moved from the same town to a different town (20 minutes away) dad remarried has a stepdaughter 10 and lives with his mother. Dad does no communicating to me nor the children everything is last minute and my daughter who is 15 decided to live with father and 10 yr old son wants to stay with me. How do we go about splitting children? and support ( mom makes 20,000 dad makes 50,000 if not more now. I am not sure if this decision will work because my daughter lives with him going on 2 months he does not make her visit me and forces my son to go with him according to divorce decree visitation 2 days a week and every other weekend. I do not feel that is fair to not encourage the children to go. I have continually discussed this with my lawyer I have all details documented about late notifications how do I prove my case to my lawyer everytime he tells me to do something it is not enough?????????????
PLEASE HELP

Re: Visitation
If you agree to the custody split, that should be easy enough for the lawyers to put down in an order. You can calculate child support here.

Re: Visitation
I need advice on how to handle my ex not sending my daughter for visitation (15 yrs old) but my son (10 yrs old) always has to go to visitation even if he wants to skip every once in a while. My son questions why does he have to go but sister doesn't have to. I always encourage regular visitation but it is hard when sis is not. I have primary custody of both children and recently let her go back with dad not dreaming he would not make her see me at all.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Visitation
Go back to the court which issued the custody order and ask that he be sanctioned for non-compliance with the visitation order.
