I think you're wise to be concerned about the points rather than the $150. If you could come out of this with only a couple of hundred bucks out of your pocket, you'd be very lucky considering the insurance implications of your excessive speed.
You may be eligible for traffic school, depending upon your state laws, the judge's leniency and your past record. If you can possibly swing it, that would sure be the way to go. It seems unlikely you would prevail in court. Good luck!

The ticket was issued in different county, is there anyway i could possibly use that to my advantage? Even as an excuse to delay court dates for a while.
Is there a 'best' way to plead for a better charge?
Anything with even a minute chance would be greatly appreciated.
