What Are My Rights If I Move Out?

Hello Im from california.
I/ve been married for 26 years. My husband is very controlling, not allowing me to see my folks for 3 years, not go to any of my family funtions, name calls,nit picks and criticizes me in public.
forces me to go to his folk has everyday (by the way his parents are great)
I have a 19 year and 21 year. We share custody of our 2 year grandson which I love dearly.
My question is ....for the last 10 years I dream of getting out leaving.
But If I leave my house which we both own will I lose my rights to it?
And how can I secure it if he wants bring people in that house and I cant get them out to sell it?
Yes I ve thought about divorce.....
But that would be too easy for him. I do need finacial
help because I am hurt from my lower back in an accident I had
2 years ago.
I dont want for myself but for my grandson.
I dont know what to do at this point.
I dont want to lose my home.
But I know I cant live like this anymore in an emotional abuse home.
I dont have money but I plan to in a couple month due to my injury settlement.
If I stay im dammed.....if I go will I lose all that I have?

You don't lose your property rights if you move out. You should, however, consult a divorce lawyer and formulate a plan for how you move out, and how you will address immediate issues such as custody and visitation for your grandchild.

I dont want more or less. Just 50 percent of want is mine.
