Kentucky has no emancipation law.
Given your representation that your friend's life is in danger, she should attempt to receive assistance through a child protective agency.
I was wondering about emancipation. So there is no law in kentucky stating that a youth under 18 can be emancipated from their parents? What if a 17 year old does not want to go home to their parents, what would happen to them if they refused to come home? There used to be an emancipation law, I am just confused on what happenend to it. Thanks for your help
