overstayed my F-1
I am an international student from Hong Kong. I studied my Master dregee in a University, but I did not finished my degree due to some personal problem. My F-1 status was out-of-status on May, 2005. After that I stay in the US until now.
This is the problem I have:
1. I will be reinstate to my school to finish my Master dregee, but my school require me to get a new visa.
2. If I leave the US now, will I ban to come back to US for years?
3. Can I reapply my new visa in my country?
4. should I apply for voluntary departure?
5. If I apply for voluntary departure, can I apply a new visa?
Thanks for your time

Overstayed Visa
Voluntary departure is something you would accept in the course of deportation proceedings, which apparently have not been commenced against you. You can leave on your own initiative. You should, of course, try to get back into lawful immigration status. Your best bet is to consult an immigration lawyer, who can give you individualized advice as to how to best get back into lawful immigration status, and avoid any complications which may otherwise result from your overstay.
